It is a privilege and an honor to be part of the Homestead Family. Homestead Senior High offers a myriad of rigorous academic programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of all our students. We are very proud of our Magnet Programs: Nursing, Event Planning and Sports Marketing.
Our goal is to continue to provide the best learning environment for all our students as we prepare them for a challenging and global society. As we embark on the pursuit of academic excellence, I ask that we continue to work together in a cooperative and collaborative manner in order to achieve the utmost educational accomplishment and success for all students.

Vivian Fernandez and Vannessa Montiel's figure paintings will be on exhibit at the MIA Gallery from October 2011- February 2012 as part of a district exhibition: 'Those Fabulous Fauvists". In addition to selection, Vannessa Montiel's oil painting received an Award of Distinction. Vivian and Vannessa are both in Ms. Sharpe's AP Studio Art class.
The Student Leadership Team for the 2011-2012 Academic Year are featured. The Student Leadership Team consist of Officers of Student Government and the Senior and Junior Classes. Student Government Officers are: Crystal Amezquita- President, Robert Murphy- Secretary, Erika Martinez- Vice President, and Ambrelle Bomar- Historian/Public Relations Officer. Senior Class Officers are: Victoria Young- Vice President and Ulda Valbrun- President. Junior Class Officers are: Maria Francois-Treasurer, Akilah Reese- Presidetn, Phalaine Martinard-Secretary and Shalini Boodoo- Vice President.
