Our goals for Homestead Senior High:

• Improve students' attitude and knowledge towards school, academics, commitment to character, employment and post-secondary planning
• Assist in the development, implementation and activities related to the Homestead Senior High School Career Academies and Magnet Programs
• Assist students in improving and understanding SCANS (Secretary's Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills)
• Assist students in developing and pursuing career plans
• Provide services to students through non-profit agencies
• Maintain positive relationships with parents
• Assist students in resolving problems as identified on the Student Assistance Profile
• Increase students' attendance
• Encourage students to remain in school, whether or not at Homestead Senior
• Increase the graduation rate
